Hopkins Therapies was founded by Matthew Hopkins, LMT, CTT in
2006. It specializes in therapeutic body work and releasing chronic
pain patterns. Other specializations include relaxation and sports
massage.
Matthew Hopkins is a licensed massage therapist in the State of
Texas (LMT#035214). He graduated from the Lauterstein-Conway
Massage School in 2002. Techniques include Critz Technique™,
Swedish, Sports, and Deep Tissue/ Therapeutic Massage. He has
studied under David Lauterstein and Micheal Critz for his advanced
massage therapy training. He received certification as a Critz
Technique™ Therapist in 2005. He is a current member of
Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals since 2007.
Matthew works full time at Austin Regional Clinic, where he utilizes
his training to work alongside family doctors and assists two
physical therapists. All his remaining time is spent focused on his
own practice. Encouraging overall wellbeing and reducing chronic
pain through massage are goals incorporated into his practice.
